Learning content
To demonstrate why adhesive restorative competence has become an essential part of contemporary endodontic practice, and to provide endodontists with a practical conceptual and clinical framework for restoring treated teeth in a predictable, tissue-preserving and biologically sound way.
Aims and Objectives
-
Explain the restorative role of the endodontist
Understand why long-term success of endodontic treatment depends not only on disinfection and obturation, but also on immediate and well-executed adhesive restoration, and why these skills should be integrated into endodontic decision-making. -
Describe the key concepts and technologies of adhesive endo-restoration
Become familiar with the main conceptual principles, material choices and clinical technologies involved in adhesive restoration of endodontically treated teeth, including tissue preservation, adhesion, stress management and the role of fibre reinforcement. -
Apply a practical clinical protocol for adhesive restoration after endodontic treatment
Gain an overview of a step-by-step protocol for immediate post-endodontic adhesive build-up, including substrate management, bonding strategy, core build-up, reinforcement and preparation for definitive restoration.
